It is achieved!!
Astillero tennis school student César Barranquero Lamo has just signed a scholarship in the U.S. where he will develop his university career at Abilene University in Texas competing in a U.S. first division team.
César came to our school with just 9 years without any expectation beyond learning to have fun and make friends. Then he kicked the worm of the competition and although the first 2 years did not get the expected results, with hard training and after a lot of stubbornness and observation of the world of tennis watching a lot of live tennis on the tracks, he is currently the number 1 of Cantabria with 17 years.
In addition to his sports success, we note that his bachelor’s grades are outstanding on average.
We want to congratulate their parents Vicente and Maite for the great effort made and for their contribution to the school and club.
We are convinced that in life you will get all those you propose and that this is and will continue to be your home and here you have us for what you need.
A tender greeting from a faithful follower who has seen you grow and who loves you very much for all the values you represent and to continue so!
