On Friday, July 28, the finals for the absolute regional championship 2017 of Cantabria have been played and therefore we already have the winner@s.
At 10:00 began the individual finals (Javier Reñones against Enrique Sánchez) and female (Coral Rodríguez against Mercedes López). After hour and half of match, Javier won in 2 disputed sets to Enrique 7-5 6-3. Meanwhile, on the adjacent track Coral and Mercedes went to the tie break of the first set. At 12:00 began the double final between Angel Santiago - Nicolás Valcazar and Jesus Samuel - Fernando Franco being the final result after little more than 1 hour of 6-0 6-0 clearly in favor of Angel and Santiago.
In other words, l@s Local Campeons from this year 2017 by are : by Javier Reñones Absolutely a man, by Mercedes Lopez (absolutely female) and Angel Santiago as Nicolás Valcazar Absolutely double male.
