On March 20 the C.D.E. La Cantábrica has closed its participation in the inter-provincial competition VNRC (Vasco-Navarra-Riojana-Cántabra), and has done so in the best possible way, dismissing with a triumph (4-3) against the Navarre team C.T. Valle de Aranguren.

After not traveling to Navarra to play the elimination against the C.D. Amaya of the VNRC competition, the absolute team of the C.D.E. La Cantábrica faced its last elimination at home.
It started very well the day, since the first match won Fernando Franco (4) for a result of 6-2 6-2 to Sergio Santiesteban and the second match did the same David Castañera (5) taking a very disputed game for a result of 7-6(1) 6-4 before Asier Latorre. Then entered into competition the numbers 2 and 3: Sergio Peña (3) continued with the good scale of results rising with the triumph before Santiago Esteve 6-2 6-3, but Jon Stodulka (2) overwhelmed by a discomfort on the shoulder could not defeat Íñigo Solano 5-7 2-6, with which the result was partial 3-1 in favor.
Last entered our number 1 Jesus Samuel Cobo, which was defeated by Julen Aguirre with a clear 1-6 2-6.
After the individuals came the 2 double matches (which were infarct, since both decided the super tie-break), in which we needed to add 1 point to bring us the eliminatory, and it was achieved in the first match, which played Jesus Samuel Cobo and Fernando Franco, after winning 5-7 6-3 10-4 to Julen Aguirre and Íñigo Solano, rebounding the initial set.
Good triumph the obtained who closes the competition with a final baggage of 1 triumph and 2 defeats.
